The skills requested in digital transformation RFPs depend on the type of mission, but several areas of expertise appear regularly.
Analytical skills are essential. Consultants must be able to understand a context, identify pain points, map processes, analyze available data and formulate recommendations adapted to the company’s priorities.
Structuring and project management skills are also very important. Companies look for profiles able to build a roadmap, prioritize actions, monitor deliverables, facilitate governance meetings and coordinate stakeholders.
Human and communication skills play a central role. A management consultant, business consultant, digital transformation consultant or change management consultant must be able to listen, reformulate, facilitate workshops, engage teams, manage resistance and make decisions understandable for technical, business and procurement stakeholders.
